天文地理人事(천문지리인사)
황제는 '황제내경 소문 기교변대론'에서, “願夫子 保於無窮 流於無極, 余司其事, 則而行之, 柰何”(선생이 무궁함을 지니고 무극에 흐르도록 원하면, 내가 그 일을 사령하여 행하려고 하는데 어떻겠는가)
기백은, “岐伯曰, 請遂言之也. 上經曰, 夫道者 上知天文 下知地理 中知人事 可以常久 此之謂也”(청하시니 말씀드리겠습니다. 상경에 이르기를 무릇 道라는 것은 위로는 천문을 알고, 아래로는 지리를 알며 가운데로는 인사를 알면 常이 장구해 지니 이것을 말하는 것입니다)라고 천문지리인사를 아는 것이 道다.

Huangdi in Huangdineijing suwen, Qijiaobian Dalunpian: Major Discussion on the Changes of Qi-Convergence said, “I hope that you can keep this theory and pass it on forever. Can I manage this matter and conduct it according to the principles?
Qibo said, “Please allow me to explain. The book entitled Shangjing said, ‘The so-called Dao (way) is related to astronomy in the upper, geography in the lower and human beings in the middle. That is why it can last forever.’” Knowing astronomy, geography and human beings is the Dao.

黄帝在黄帝内经素问，气交变大论里说，“为了百姓的生命， 为了这一至道要永远留传，我愿住管这件事，做为准则去实行，你看怎样？”
歧伯在黄帝内经素问，气交变大论里说，“请允许我讲给您听吧。《上经》说：关于道，就是要上知天文。下知地理，中知人事，才可使其保持长久，就是这个道理。”所知道天文地理人事
的是道。
