기백은 '황제내경 소문 기교변대론'에서,"本氣位也 位天者 天文也. 位地者 地理也. 通于人氣之變化者 人事也. 故太過者先天 不及者後天 所謂治化 而人應之謂也"(본 氣에는 位가 있습니다. 하늘의 位는 천문이요, 땅의 位는 지리이고, 사람은 통하면 氣가 變化하여 인사가 됩니다. 그러므로 태과는 선천이요 불급은 후천이 되어 治化한다고 하며, 사람은 여기에 응합니다)라고 治化와 人應을 설명한다.

歧伯在黄帝内经素问,气交变大论里说,“根本就在于推求天、地、人三气的位置。天之位,就是研究天文气象变化情况的。地之位,就是研究地理变化情况的;通晓人气的变化就是人事。因而太过的气先天时而至,不及的气后天时而至。所以说,运气主治发生变化,人体的活动也随之发生相应的变化。”解释治化与人應。
