南下左右(남하좌우)
황제는,“帝曰, 何謂下”(아래의 소위는 어떠한가)
기백은,"岐伯曰 厥陰在上則少陽在下 左陽明右太陰, 少陰在上則陽明在下 左太陽右少陽, 太陰在上則太陽在下 左厥陰右陽明, 少陽在上則厥陰在下 左少陽右太陽, 陽明在上則少陰在下 左太陰右厥陰, 太陽在上則太陰在下 左少陽右少陰 所 謂面南而命其位 言其見也"(궐음이 위에 있으면 소양이 아래에 있고 왼편이 양명이면 오른편은 태음이고, 소음이 위에 있으면 양명은 아래에 있고 왼편이 태양이면 오른편은 소양이고, 태음이 위에 있으면 태양은 아래에 있고 왼편이 궐음이면 오른편은 양명이고, 양명이 위에 있으면 소음은 아래에 있고 왼편이 태음이면 오른편은 궐음이고, 태양이 위에 있으면 태음은 아래에 있고 왼편이 소양이면 오른편은 소음입니다. 이른바 남쪽을 향해 있으면서 그 位를 命한 것이니 본 바를 말한 것입니다)라고 아래(남) 있는 좌우를 설명한다.
