공자는 '주역 계사하전 제1장'에서, "天地之道 貞觀者也 日月之道 貞明者也 天下之動 貞夫一者也"(천지의 道는 항상 보여주고, 일월의 道는 항상 밝히며, 천하의 움직임은 항상 1이다)라고 천지일월의 道는 함께 움직이므로 결국은 1이다.

Kongzi in Zhouyi:Book of changes,Xi Ci II: The Great Treatise II, Chapter 1 said, “The Dao of heaven and earth continually displays their lessons; The Dao of the sun and moon continually enlightens their lights; all the movements between heaven and earth are constantly subject to 1.” As the Dao of the heaven,earth,sun and moon moves altogether, all the movements are subject to 1.
