기백은 '황제내경 6원정기대론'에서,"夫六氣之用 各歸不勝 而爲化 故太陰雨化 施于太陽 太陽寒化 施于少陰 少陰熱化 施于陽明 陽明燥化 施于厥陰 厥陰風化 施于太陰 各命其所在以徵之也"(무릇 6기의 用은 각기 勝하지 못하고 歸하여 化합니다. 그러므로 태음은 雨로 化해서 태양에 베풀고, 태양은 寒으로 化해서 소음에 베풀고, 소음은 熱로 化하여 양명에 베풀고, 양명은 燥로 化하여 궐음에 베풀고, 궐음은 風으로 化하여 태음에 베풀어 각기 그 소재를 命함으로 징조가 나타납니다)라고 命함으로 징조가 있다.
