勝復作(승복작)
기백은 '황제내경 지진요대론'에서,"夫氣之生與其化 衰盛異也 寒暑溫　 盛衰之用 其在四維 故陽之動 始于溫 盛于署 陰之動 始于淸 盛于寒 春夏秋冬 各差其分"(무릇 氣의 生하고 化하는 것은 성쇠가 다릅니다. 한서온량은 그 성쇠의 용이니 그것은 4유에 있습니다. 그러므로 양의 동함은 溫에서 시작하고 署에서 왕성합니다. 음의 동함은 淸에서 시작하고 寒에서 왕성하니 춘하추동은 각기 그 기분에 차이가 있습니다)라고 勝復作을 설명한다.

The action of domination and retaliation
Qibo in Huangdineijingsuwen, Zhizhenyao Dalunpian: Discussion on the most Important and Abstruse theory said, “The generation and transformation of Qi are different in the periods of wane and wax．The properties of cold, heat, warmth and coolness are the application of wane and wax and they are all manifested in Siwei. So the action of Yang starts from warmth and terminates with summer-heat when it has reached the peak：the action of Yin begins with coolness and terminates with coldness when it has reached the peak．There is some difference in spring, summer, autumn and winter respectively." It explains the action of domination and retaliation.

胜复作
岐伯在黄帝内经素问，至真要大论说，“因为气的发生和变化，盛和衰有所不同。寒署温凉盛衰的作用，表现在辰戌丑未四季的月份之时。所以阳气的发动，始于温而盛于署；阴气的发动，始于凉而盛于寒。春夏秋冬四季之间，有一定的时差。” 这就解释胜复作的含义。
